Glossary Editorial Policy
How HealthSpeak glossary pages are selected, written, and updated for clinical English learners.
How the HealthSpeak glossary batch was built from the master dataset, cleaned, and selected for indexable publication.
The current glossary work started from 3,827 raw records gathered inside the HealthSpeak project workspace.
Those records were merged into a normalized master dataset so category cleanup, duplicate review, and SEO export could be handled separately from the live app.
Only 2,722 records are currently considered indexable. The rest are held back because of duplicate words, duplicate IDs, missing definitions, or excluded categories.
That decision reduces thin-page risk and helps the launch batch focus on clearer, stronger glossary pages.
The first launch batch is intentionally limited: a glossary hub, category pages, term pages, use-case pages, and trust pages.
This staged release makes it easier to measure indexing, impressions, and internal-link performance before expanding into larger clusters.
